Dr. Lucy Eunice Akinyi is currently a lecturer and Director – Directorate of Open Distance and E- Learning of Turkana University College- Kenya. She is also the coordinator of postgraduate programmes in the School of Business and Economics, Turkana University College. She holds a Doctorate degree in Economics of education and Educational Planning from Kenyatta University, Masters of Education in Economics of Education and Educational Planning and Bachelor of Education from Kenyatta University.
She is experienced, dedicated and committed academician with a research focus in Policy formulation and analysis, equity, relevance and sustainable education, implementation and evaluation, and case strategic planning. She has a passion in evidence based educational researches. She is also into Technology and E-Learning with the aim of improving Equity, Access and Sustainable education.
She has published in refereed journals, conference proceedings and is currently writing books and more proposals. Dr. Akinyi is a Professional Member of Education Management Society of Kenya (EMSK), and also sits in boards of public and private institutions.
