LEADERSHIP TRAINING

The Division of Academics and Students Affairs held a two-day leadership training on 11^th and 12^th November, 2021 at the University Boardroom. The facilitators were Prof. Alala Ondiek and Prof. Charles Tibbs from Masinde Muliro University of Science & Technology. In attendance were, Prof. George Chemining’wa-Ag. Principal, Prof George Muthaa-Ag. Deputy Principal (AF&P), Prof. Clifford-Ag. Deputy Principal (A&SA), Directors, Deans and other Heads of department.

The main aim of the training was capacity building aimed at improving service delivery in Turkana University College. The team was trained on delivering results, establishing good relationships in departments, expected conduct of Heads of Departments, Setting goals in the department/schools/directorate amongst other things.
