QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION TRAINING

These substantial benefits for ISO certification necessitates Turkana University College’s commitment to initiate the ISO certification by training Process owners including the University College Management, Deans, Directors, Section and Units heads on ISO 9001:2015 Standards.
It is against this background that the University management engaged National Quality Institute (NQI) a leading trainer on quality related courses in the East African Region for a four days QMS implementation training for all the process owners in all the Divisions, Departments, Sections and Units on Monday 20th June, 2022 to Thursday 23rd June, 2022.
While opening the Four Day workshop, the Principal, Prof. George Cheminingwa reiterated that university College management is committed to ensuring that all our programmes meet national and international quality standards. He further stated that the ISO 9001:2015 certification will enable the TUC to enter into viable collaboration within the international scene and urged University staff and students to strive for excellence and quality standards so as to realize the University College Vision “becoming a globally esteemed University of teaching, research and outreach”.
