Turkana University College fraternity led by the Principal and Turkana University College Management, Staff and students paid special tribute by writing messages of condolence for the late Prof. Isaiah Odhiambo Nengo. The distinguished paleoanthropologist scientist was an adjunct Professor in the School of Science and Technology and academic program leader for Master of Science in Human Evolutionary Biology program. Prof. Nengo will fondly be remembered by securing full scholarships for postgraduate students for Master of Science Program. Most of the professional colleagues and postgraduate students would agree with me that Prof. Nengo was such a very brilliant person and a mentor to young research scholars. The Professor provided the students opportunities for learning and research through his well-coordinated efforts.

The late Professor has left behind a legacy in the field of paleoanthropology with his inspirational character especially getting scholarship opportunities for students and thought-provoking research experiences in human science origins with a multitude of scholarly publications in the same field. Prof. Nengo will fondly be remembered as a warm and inspiring character. Thank you Professor for your total willingness to spend extra hours with postgraduate students and you had even walked several extra miles with your students in their journey to complete their studies. On the TBI partnership and collaboration of scholarship opportunities, School of Science and Technology will always treasure the moments of fruitful discussions during TBI-TUC Joint management committee meetings. 2 Timothy 4:7-8: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the good race and I have kept Faith”. Thank you Professor for having kept Faith and for your major contribution to the body of Knowledge in Human Science origins in Africa and beyond. May your wonderful soul Rest in Eternal Peace!
