The Department of Language and Linguistics - School of Education and Social Sciences (Turkana University College) hosted Prof. Monika Kopytowska. Kopytowska is a Professor in the department of Pragmatics- Faculty of Philology in Lodź University - Poland. During her three-day (Monday 23^rd to Wednesday 2rd August 2021) visit to the University, she interacted with students and lecturers of TUC in language classroom processes. Thereafter, she paused for a photo session with Prof. George Chemining'wa (Ag. Principal), Prof. Clifford Machogu (Ag. Deputy Principal Academic and Student Affairs) and Prof. George Muthaa (Ag. Deputy Principal Administration, Finance and Planning). Lecturers in the department include Dr. Gervacio Miriti, Ms. Abisaki Oloo, Ms. Beatrice Mbori and Dr. Koros.
