TUC Wishing Candidates Success in the Ongoing 2022 National Examination

Turkana University College Principal, Prof. George Chemining’wa, is wishing success to KPSEA, KCPE and KCSE candidates in their national exams. He assures them that their preparation and hard work will bear fruitful results. Further, Prof. Chemining’wa has underscored the need to remind the candidates that there is still an academic journey ahead notwithstanding the levels.

“I want to wish success to all the candidates of this year’s (2022) national exams.  I also want them to know that they have a bright future waiting for them at the University level. I am sure that even pupils sitting for KPSEA or grade six exams and the KCPE candidates will in due time transit to higher academic levels. It will not be too long before they matriculate at universities and other institutions of higher learning. The KCSE candidates are soon going to get enrolled in universities and as I wish them the best of luck in their examinations, I also welcome them to Turkana University College, the Cradle of Knowledge”, said Prof. Chemining’wa.

In addition, Prof. Cheminig’wa is appealing to the KCSE candidates to select Turkana University College while making their applications through Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS).

TUC has unique programmes and operates from a unique region that is replete with opportunities and rich culture and heritage. These, I believe, form a basis for any enthusiastic student to select our programmes. I therefore urge our 2022 KCSE candidates to choose TUC during their applications and/or revision”.

Prof. Chemining’wa added that the University College had visited and issued success cards to about 80 schools in Turkana County. Among them are Katilu Boys, Katilu Girls, Loima Boys, Turkana Girls National School, Loyo Secondary School, Lopiding Girls, Our Lady’s Kakuma Girls and Pokotom Primary and Secondary School just to mention but a few. Fifteen (15) other schools received their success cards during the TUC-KUCCPS- career sensitization stint that happened a few days ago at Turkana University College. These included Lodwar Boys, Napeililim Secondary, SA Nawoitorong Secondary and Limyounsim High School.
