Research, Innovation & Linkages
The Division of Research, Innovation and Linkages is headed by a Deputy Principal, who has the following responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE DEPUTY PRINCIPAL IN CHARGE OF RESEARCH, INNOVATION AND LINKAGES
According to Turkana University College STATUTE IX, the Deputy Principal in charge of Research, Innovation and Linkages (DP-RIL) under the general direction of the Principal, has the following responsibilities:
1) The Deputy Principal in charge of Research, Innovation and Linkages (DP-RIL) shall be the head of Research, innovation and linkages.
2) The Deputy Principal (RIL) shall be responsible for research, Innovation and Extension services
3) The Deputy Principal (RIL) shall be responsible for establishment of Linkages with key stakeholders and partners both locally and internationally for research, innovation and extension programmes
4) Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Council from time to time, under the supervision of the Principal.
Currently, there is only one Directorate under the jurisdiction of the office Deputy Principal (Research, Innovation and Linkages): The Directorate of Research, Partnerships and Collaboration.
