TURKANA UNIVERSITY COLLEGE CONGRATULATES GOVERNMENT SPONSORED STUDENTS SET TO JOIN THE INSTITUTION
The Principal, Turkana University College (TUC), Prof. George N. Chemining’wa has congratulated the 2,295 students set to join the institution. He expressed his joy and readiness to receive the students who are scheduled to report to the institution on 25th August, 2025.
“I appreciate the 2,295 students who chose TUC and have secured a chance to study with us. We offer a uniquely conducive environment for students to learn, carry out research and engage in community service and extra-curricular activities. I assure them of a great learning experience and a bright future. Welcome to the vibrant community of Turkana University College, the Cradle of Knowledge”, said Prof. Chemining’wa.
Besides, the Student Council (TUCSO) President, Mr. Alex Iman Ekal, and the Secretary General, Mr. Bellah Lusimbo, have urged the freshmen to start warming up for university life. They have further asked the 2025 cohort to come prepared to not only engage in class work and research but also to actively demonstrate their talents in a variety of co-curricular activities.
Mr. Daud Emase, Chairman of the TUC Alumni Association, has termed the move by 2024 K.C.S.E students to enroll at Turkana University College a wise decision. “Turkana University College will see you enroll and finish your four-year stint without any delay. This is what TUC alumni witnessed in their time”, said Mr. Emase.
