Turkana University College, in collaboration with The Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA),  hosted a research and public policy workshop. The workshop took place at Turkana University College Main Hall for two days ( 13th & 14th January 2022). The workshop was organized under KIPPRA flagship programme called KIPPRA Mentorship Programme for Universities (KMPUs).

The programme sought to mentor university students and teaching staff for effective participation in the public policy formulation, research, policy analysis, and debate. The event brought together university students, teaching staff and representatives from the National Government and private sector.

The program was also designed to encourage and promote the next generation of leaders with successful career in their fields. KMPUs strives to create awareness and develop capacity of the University Community in understanding the public policy making process.
